Annotations on documents
The Document Annotations module allows notes and comments to be made directly on documents stored in the system. This allows the team to effectively collaborate on the content of files, hold discussions, make changes and exchange comments in the context of a specific section of a document, without having to send separate emails.
The key capabilities of this module are:
- Notes and comments – ‘sticky’ reminders can be inserted, as well as contextual comments at specific points in the document.
- Drawings and markings – adding graphical elements such as arrows, frames, stamps or highlighting (e.g. highlights, strikethroughs) allows you to visually indicate the sections that require attention.
- Attaching objects – the module supports the insertion of files, notes or even multimedia elements directly into the document, enriching the context of the information.
- Annotation properties – each note can have individual parameters set: colours, fonts, transparency, author, review status, and can be flattened (embedded in the document) or deleted.
- Shared and transparent process – commenting takes place on a separate layer without affecting the original content of the document, allowing different people to work simultaneously and easily print taking into account the comments.
- Controlling the work of the team – thanks to the mechanisms for setting permissions, you can decide who can read, create, edit or delete annotations.
