Data anonymization

Data anonymization

The Data Anonymization module makes it possible to effectively transform sensitive data in databases and test environments, preventing it from being restored to its original form. This makes it possible to use real production data for testing, training or analysis – without the risk of data leakage or privacy violations, as required by RODO.

Key capabilities of the module:
  • Configurable scope definition– Administrators can specify precisely which data-e.g., personal or contractor fields-are to be anonymized and what type of transformations to apply-such as replacing names with random values.
  • Create secure test environments– Data from the production system can be safely transferred to test or training environments. Anonymous data preserves the structure and correlations between tables, guaranteeing the reliability of test scenarios
  • Automate the process– The data hiding process can be executed recursively or run ad-hoc. Users specify a schedule or manually initiate the process, and the system performs operations according to the configuration – no technical intervention required.
  • Preservation of relational integrity– The solution ensures that relationships between data (e.g., customer -> invoices -> documents) are preserved: substituted values are structurally consistent, enabling realistic testing without violating database integrity rules.
  • Support for different types of data– The module supports both text data (e.g. names, surnames) and numeric identifiers (PESEL, NIP), dates or addresses – fully adapted to the supported areas of sensitive information.
